As a former model and cover girl, it's no surprise that America's first lady, Melania Trump, can take care of herself. Slim Melania, who married 73-year-old President Donald Trump in 2005, still has an enviable figure who would not be out of place on the catwalks, despite her 50th birthday last month. But what are the secrets of her diet?
"I received many requests for recipes for my delicious and healthy breakfast every day," she wrote.
The mix called for fresh, organic spinach, celery, carrot, blueberry, apple, orange juice, lemon juice, fat-free yogurt, olive oil, flexible seeds, omega-3 and vitamin D.
Although it may seem excessive, the enormous intake of fruits and vegetables can be responsible for the flawless skin and the model figure of Melania, who she also said to keep walking using ankle weights.
Healthy eating habits can also mean that she will live longer thanks to the abundance of nutrients she receives every day.

Fruits are rich in vitamins and minerals, including folate, vitamin C and potassium, and are rich in fiber, which can help maintain a healthy gut.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends eating at least 400g of fruits and vegetables a day to reduce the risk of serious health problems, such as heart disease, stroke and some types of cancer.
Although Melania eats well, she told GQ that she is not going to the extreme. "I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body," she said. "I'm against Botox, I'm against injections; I think it's damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It's all me. I'm going to age gracefully, like my mom does.
The former model and businesswoman has also rejected the idea of a "diet" in the past.
She told Refinery29 that her eating habits "are not a diet. I just like to eat healthy because I feel better and have more energy".
However, although she is a fan of fruits, the first lady is not so fond of vegetables. In an appearance on The Martha Stewart Show, before the Trumps had any connection with the White House, she admitted that she did not eat onions and did not like artichokes.
She is also very happy to give in from time to time and reveals her favorite dish in an interview with New York Magazine in 2010.
"One thing I love most about New York is the variety of amazing foods you can eat," she said. "My favorite of all time is the chicken Parmigianino at Jean Georges".
Like her seven fruits a day, Melania apparently refuses to run out of chocolate.
The greedy fashionista is also a fan of ice cream. "It is good to satisfy desires and tastes from time to time … as long as you balance these things with healthy foods," she said.
Despite her occasional treatment, Melania keeps things balanced with her healthy breakfast and complements it with supplements to care for her models.
In 2011, she told Bella magazine: "I take vitamins A, C and E to keep my skin, hair and nails healthy".
