The SpaceX Dragon Crew arrived this Sunday (31), at 11:16 am (Brasília time) at the International Space Station, after 19 hours of flight.

The rocket was launched on Saturday, from platform 39A, at the Kennedy Space Center, in Cape Canaveral, Florida, with two NASA astronauts on board – Douglas Hurley, 53, and Robert Behnken, 49.

Both have been with NASA since 2000 and have been to space twice on space shuttles.

According to the BBC, Hurley and Behnken are among the most experienced members of the NASA team.

Hurley has spent 28 days and 11 hours in space, and Behnken 29 days and 12 hours.

This is the first manned voyage in the United States in nine years. SpaceX is the first private company to enter orbit.
